athlete bio
I’ve been passionate about snowboarding for the past 10 years, and over that time, I’ve explored nearly every aspect of the sport. I’ve taught full-time, ridden full-time, and taken on everything from Ski Mountaineering in Alaska to competing in the highly competitive Skijoring circuit. Splitboarding is one of my favorite ways to stay fit and enjoy nature, and I regularly go on multi-day mountain missions to climb and explore. Cannabis has also been a huge help in managing pain from past injuries and enhancing my recovery after long days in the backcountry. As part of the Juniper Cannabis Athlete Team, I’m excited to bring together the worlds of Skijoring, snowboarding, and cannabis. I hope my involvement helps to grow the Juniper community, and I look forward to connecting with others who share my passion for outdoor sports and the benefits of cannabis. This season, I want to help create a positive, fun atmosphere and contribute to the growth of the Juniper brand while continuing to push myself as an athlete.

an unpopular opinion?

This will be my third season competing in the snowboard division of Skijoring, and I’m excited to get back in the race. Last season, I was fortunate enough to win five buckles, and I’m ready to continue that momentum this winter. Nature is at the core of what drives me—being outdoors isn’t just a hobby for me; it’s an essential reset.

How do you envision the sport helping build community?

For me, both snowboarding and Skijoring are powerful ways to build community. These sports bring people together through a shared love for the outdoors and a passion for adventure. Ski culture and western culture already have a strong connection to cannabis, and I see Skijoring as an excellent way to bring this all together in an authentic and fun way. Through these events, I’m able to help create connections between like-minded individuals who share my enthusiasm for outdoor sports. Whether through competing or simply enjoying the community atmosphere at events, I see these sports as perfect opportunities for people to connect, learn from each other, and grow together.
